You've got me!

  * you've got me there = (spoken) used to say you do not know the answer to something

Tim : Which would you like better, going to play soccer or tennis?

Jay : You've got me. Can't we do both?

Tim : No, we can't. Take your pick.

Tim : I hear that Ross and Karen broke up.

Kate : Really? That's too bad. Why do you think they split up?

Tim : You've got me.

We're history

* finish with = to end a relationship with someone

Ross : Mariah, give me one more chance.

Mariah : We're history. You know I'm seeing Jay now.

Ross : You mean everything to me. I can't live without you.

Mariah : Stop bugging me.

Tim : Hey, where's Ross now?
Mariah : I'm not sure, but I heard that he got into an argument with the manager.

Tim : You remember what happened to the guy who disagreed with manager, don't you?

Mariah : Yeah, he's history now.

Ross : Mariah, I've been thinking a lot, but we are not meant for each other.

Mariah : Oh, that's good. I'm finished with you.

You and I are through

* be through (with somebody) = (informal) to no longer be having a relationship with someone

Mariah : Ross, what are you trying to say?

Ross : You and I are through. I've had enough!

Mariah : What?! You want a divorce?

Ross : Yes, that's exactly what I want.

Ross : Calm down. Let me explain what really happened.

Kate : I don't want to hear it. I'm through with you!

Ross : Listen, Mariah. Let me tell you just one thing.

Mariah : No. I don't want to hear anything from you. I'm through with you.

Ross : But I still love you.

Mariah : Sorry, Ross. But I don't want to see you anymore.

Ross : You can't do this to me!

Don't get all excited

* worked up = (informal) very upset or excited about something

Tim : I hear Jay has been bad-mouthing me at work. I'll have a talk with him.

Ross : Don't get all excited. You don't know for sure.

Kate : This computer is driving me nuts!
Tim : What are you getting all worked up about? Is your computer on the fritz?

eg) Don't get worked up about it! It was only a suggestion.

Suit yourself

* Suit yourself

* (spoken) used to tell someone they can do whatever they want to, even though it annoys you

Tim : We're going to the movies in town. Wanna come along?

Mariah : No, thanks. I'll just stay home and watch TV.

Tim : Suit yourself.

Tim : We are going hiking, despite the rain.
Ross : Suit yourself.

Kate : I would like to go shopping instead of going to the movies.

Tim : Suit yourself.

Tim : Kate, come on out. We're going to be late.

Kate : I said I'm not going.

Tim : All right. Whatever you want. We're leaving now.
