Karen : No, problem. When can we meet, then. 괜찮아. 그럼, 언제 만날까?

Ross : How about next Monday at the same time? 다음주 월요일 같은 시간에 어때?

Karen : Suits me fine. 좋아.

Tim : Will you be free to have lunch with me tomorrow? 내일 나하고 점심 같이할 시간 있니?

Karen : Sure. 물론이죠.

Tim : Great. I'll pick you up at 12, ok? 좋아. 12시에 데리러 갈게, 어때?

Karen : All right. 좋아요.

Tim : While I got you on the phone, do me a favor, will you?

Karen : Go ahead. What is it? 말해요. 뭐죠?

Tim : I'll pick up the tab. 내가 낼게.

Kate : You did last time, so this one is on me. 지난 번에 냈으니까 이번엔 내가 낼게요.

Tim : Did I? Anyway, I'll take care of the bill today. 내가? 어쨌든 오늘은 내가 낼게.

Kate : All right, if you insist. But the next one is on me.

그래요, 정 그러시다면. 담번엔 내가 낼게요.


Kate : Can I have the bill, please? 계산서 좀 갖다 주실래요?
Tim : No. My meal was much bigger and you paid last time, so I'll pick up the tab this time.

아니야. 내 음식이 더 비싼거고 지난번에 니가 계산했으니까 이번엔 내가 낼게.

Kate : Well, thank you. Then I'll get the tip. 그렇다면, 고마워. 그러면 팁은 내가 낼게.



Tim : Could you take these dishes away and bring me the bill?
이 접시들 좀 치워 주시고, 계산서 좀 갖다 주시겠어요?

Waiter : Okay. one check or separate checks, sir?

네. 같이 계산해 드릴까요, 아니면 따로 갖다 드릴까요?

Tim : Just one, please. Kate, let me cover it this time.

Kate : It is? Thank you! You're too kind. 그래? 고마워! 너 정말 마음이 좋구나.

Tim : It's the least I can do. 최소한 이런 것은 해야지.

Karen : Congratulations on your promotion. 승진 축하드려요.

Karen : Let me take you to dinner tonight. 오늘 저녁을 제가 살게요.
